ALL-ON procedures refer to rehabilitation operations, or complete reconstruction of the dentition of edentulous patients or patients with teeth that cannot be recovered by other modern dentistry techniques. When these techniques are used, none of the old teeth or roots are used.

ALL-ON procedures and ALL-ON technology
The principle is to install between 4 and 8 implants (ALL ON 4, ALL ON 6 and ALL ON 8) to support the complete jaw. The goal is to be able to reconstruct a complete dentition that can range from 10 to 14 crowns.
The choice of the ALL ON 4 or ALL ON 6 implant solution (or 8) is often determined by the amount of bone available to place the implants.
The implants are placed strategically so as to be able to receive the chewing load transmitted by the crowns.
The crowns are of course linked together (implant-supported bridge) so as to distribute the load and benefit from a dentition with more teeth than support points (there are more teeth than implants).
ALL ON 4 Procedure
The ALL ON 4 procedure is the complete rehabilitation procedure that uses the fewest implants per jaw. As its name suggests, 4 implants are placed in the jaw bone to support a complete prosthesis which is generally screw-retained in the implants. Screw-retained prostheses are prostheses attached to implants by screws instead of being cemented on implant abutments.
Unlike ALL ON 6 procedures, the prosthesis is a complete prosthesis that passes over the gum. It is therefore not only crowns.
Screw-retained prostheses as well as the ALL ON 4 solution should be favored in cases where very little bone remains, particularly on the second premolars and molars, where additional dental implants of ALL ON 6 solutions are generally placed.

Complete dental restoration implants and crowns ALL ON 6 and ALL ON 8
The ALL ON 6 procedure is the complete rehabilitation procedure that uses more implants per jaw and can support a complete bridge of ceramic-metal and Zirconia dental crowns. As its name suggests, 6 or 8 implants are placed in the jaw bone, the implants are generally placed every 2 crowns. The crowns can be placed in a screw-retained or cemented mode depending on the implant brands.
This solution is a procedure allowing patients to recover their jaw, almost as before. The sensation of chewing has almost returned and the strength is very important thanks to the distribution of the load every 2 crowns.
12 crowns are ideally placed and 14 crowns are placed for the ALL ON 8 solution.
To be able to place these implants, bone quality is necessary and if the amount of bone is not sufficient, a bone graft and often a sinus floor elevation (sinus lift) may be necessary before implantation.
